Mt Macedon Golf Club was delighted that so many of our Dalhousie District partners were able to attend the annual 27 hole Open event sponsored by Drummond Golf-Niddrie , which was staged last Sunday. Players from Strathbogie, Avenel, Broadford, Kilmore, Romsey, Lancefield, Seymour and Euroa golf clubs were treated to a course in an excellent Spring time state, weather conditions conducive for good golf and partook of a delicious lunch. At the end of the day Eddy Carracher took the major Scratch trophy with 102 strokes. Patrick Doyle (8 handicap) was the A grade handicap winner with a nett 100. Marcus Ward (12) took the B grade handicap event also with a nett 100 and Bob Close’s nett 99.5 (handicap 21) saw him a comfortable winner of the C grade trophy.
