Ladies get into Golf

Session 1 - Sunday 5th October 2025

We held Session 1 of our 10th introduction program to Novice Ladies golfers.

Whilst 13 registered, we had a solid group of 10 ladies, participate in Putting, Chipping, and Net activities.

This has brought the total number of ladies who have participated to 166.

Session 1 - Sunday 17th September 2023

Today we welcomed a dozen enthusiastic lady participants for our first of four 'Ladies Get Into Golf@MMGC' Spring sessions.

Winner of the putting competition was Sally, while Lilly showed her brother that good technique will always beat over confidence.

Putting and chipping were the most challenging of the skills while the ladies very much enjoyed unleashing their aggression with the drivers as well as the conversion and a beverage in the Mt Macedon late afternoon sunshine.

Looking forward to having you all back next Sunday for session 2.

Kellie S was the winner of today's nine hole competition from Dee C, Wendy H and Kerry R. Kellie also snagged the NTP to make it a clean sweep

Drummond Golf Evening - 20th September 2023

Huge thanks to Chris and his team for the closed session at Drummond Golf-Niddrie last evening.

Welcomed with a glass of bubbles and snacks, our nine lady members worked on their putting technique and swing in the simulators for over two hours.

Congratulations to Dee Cremasco who has now overcome her putting yips by taking out a hotly contested putting competition.

Session 3 - 1st October 2023

Week 3 of our 'Ladies Get Into Golf@MMGC' Springtime clinic. Thanks to President Matt, Treasurer Brian, Club Champion Alex and Bruce for their support of the ladies.

Highlight was an 'up and down' chip and one putt on the 2nd by Lilly from 80 metres away. Some impressive driving by all ladies.
