April Mug o' the Month stableford today with a baker's dozen on time for our shotgun start. Thanks to Nifty for organising the food and Giddy for setting up the list of players as I registered members in the competition. Many hands make light work. The concept behind making each week a shotgun is to ensure all players are in the clubhouse for the presentations and banter, and so it was today. 
Welcomed Mick Doyle for a mid week whack and as the reigning Medal of Medalists and 2018 matchplay champion and grand finalist in this year's matchplay event, it would be an opportunity for his playing partners to see a quality player in action....... however Mick's mind must have been elsewhere as numerous work phone calls consistently interrupted his round resulting in the paltry return of just 20 points! This of course meant Mick would be heading to the sink....however as he had to fly off to work, it meant unfortunate TP's 21 points were next worst. It seems even when he doesn't finish last he still contrives to get the 'plate' award. Thanks for being such a good sport Terry-of course you have an IOU from M. Doyle.....the next time he turns up. 

As the pin positions for last week's medal round were still in place, it seemed to make the round far more difficult as only one player was able to equal his handicap. Winner with 36 points was Ian Flannery (second mug) while Aitch took second on countback from Brian Collins-34 points. NTP on the 3rd/12th was Don Bubeck by a whisker.
